Sojong Lawyers was established in 2005 in Sydney, Australia by qualified lawyers to provide various legal services. As the name suggests, the firm has an established alliance with Sojong Partners in Seoul.

Our firm’s services can be divided into two large sections. Firstly, we provide various services for corporations and individuals within Australia. Secondly, we provide for foreign corporations the necessary advice and dispute resolution that occurs within their investment and transaction processes.

Within the international legal services area, Sojong Lawyers has also produced groundbreaking results concerning contracts, advisory work, civil litigation and other dispute resolution.

Recently, in relation to the Le Meilleur Golf Course case, which drew much attention from the Australian media, we acted for a Korean bank and were successful in bringing litigation against a top-tier firm.

Furthermore, we have also been successful in several international cases, which include acting for a Korean international shipping company and bringing a successful settlement, purchasing of a ranch twice the size of Seoul by a Korean corporation, the local sales contract of a leading Korean tire manufacturer, and advising a leading Korean electronics company.

With regards to our services within Australia, Sojong Lawyers provides various legal services that arise for individual Korean residents and businesses, both large and small.

We have acted Pro bono for an ailing missionary and helped him receive his permanent residency visa, and also acted Pro bono and received permanent residency through ministerial appeal, for a relative who had been orphaned due to a fire explosion accident.
